Inglelandi is a rapidly growing digital agency based in Chania, Crete.
We are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Back-End Web Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the tech stack. You'll manage all technical aspects of our WordPress installations, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
• Build new features. You'll develop and implement new website features and functionality that will help us drive better results.
• Play well with others. You'll work closely with our development team, and collaborate with designers and the content team to create new pages and elements.
• Organize and Strategize. You'll be responsible for implementing website changes to optimize our visibility, traffic, and conversion rates.

Requirements:

• WordPress pro. You're experienced in back-end development (PHP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin), and you can interact with RESTful APIs (JSON, XML).
• Expert knowledge of WordPress and Plugin hooking, custom post types, internationalization, and escaping/sanitization of data.
• An in-depth understanding of the entire web development process, from design to development to deployment, using best practices, especially when it comes to security and performance.
• Self-managed. Your organization skills are unmatched. You know when you need to multitask and when you need to focus.
• Nice to have. Experience using and developing Gutenberg blocks. Being familiar with the front-end aspects of using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6/React), will go a long way. Εxcellent written and oral communication skills in Greek and English. Team spirit and ability to cooperate with people of different background.
• Must live in Chania, Crete (not available for remote work).
